What will Democrats Do If They Win Majority?

The last time Democrats had majority in Congress and a Democrat in the White House they promised us single payer health care. As soon as Obama took office he changed his mind and came up with the totally flawed ACA. Democrats promised an immigration law, but that failed even though they had majority, so Obama signed some executive order to protect immigrants. Is that any different than Bush, or Trump pushing their executive orders that Democrats were all upset about?

There are many examples of Democrats squandering their majority power. Of course the excuse back then was Blue Dog democrats. The party failed to even keep their own caucus together.

Did democrats even attempt to do anything about the larger issues of Social Security, Medicare, taxes, infrastructure, etc., etc.......

The Democrats were to busy handing out money to the Republican banks, the Republican privately owned car companies, the Republican led financial industry that caused the 2008 economic crash in the first place.

Many Democrats voted for the new banking bill that again gives banks an open door to corruption and theft of Americans money.

Sen. Warren voted yes on Dr. Carson to be the head of HUD. 

Thanks to Trump's bigoted leadership Democrats might have the possibility of winning back majority, if not this election hopefully in 2020, but that's not a given.

What I read on the liberal posts like the Huffinton Post is Democrats are all prepared to go after Trump if they win majority. They can't wait to get their revenge. Their hate is driving them to plan to spend their new majority on putting Trump in jail. That is their priority? What kind of defeatist, cynical waste of time is that?

Where is their platform that will win back their majority and the American voter? Now is the time to change the decades old Republican majority in government. Now is the time to clearly state positions, goals, and renew motivation to build a better America.

A new platform is what Democrats need to win back the American people. To gain majority to change the unfair voting rules and other rules the majority has control over will take many election wins in a row to regain majority in the States and at the federal level. So Democrats can be as unfair in their majority as they have been in past history and as they complain the Republicans have been with their majority.

Do you think Democrats won't take advantage of their majority as Republicans Have? History gives us the answer to that question. YES, they will with as much dirty politics as the Republicans have.

It's sad that the Democrats have to be motivated by anger and revenge, that will ensure nothing will get done about the serious problems of America and the American people, especially the future generations of American people.

So enjoy your hate of Republicans. Enjoy your name calling of Republicans. Enjoy your revenge if you win back majority, but don't expect the American people to respect that vision of the future of the Democratic party. Your new found majority won't last long at all unless you tackle the real issues of America.
