Zimmerman (the Killer)

Report from Huffington Post:

George Zimmerman, the Florida man acquitted of murder in the controversial Trayvon Martin case, has allegedly referred to BeyoncĂ© as a “broke whore” in a series of text messages obtained by The Blast that includes a threat directed at the singer and her husband, Jay-Z.
Zimmerman, 34, allegedly wrote that if he saw the couple, “they’ll find themselves inside a 13 foot alligator.”
The messages were reportedly sent by Zimmerman to a private investigator who contacted him while seeking participants for “Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story”, a documentary series produced by Jay-Z.

Martin, an unarmed 17-year-old, was killed in Sanford, Florida, in February 2012 by Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer who claimed he shot the high schooler in self-defense. The shooting sparked protests in cities around the country, but Zimmerman was ultimately found not guilty. in a verdict that spotlighted Florida’s “stand your ground” law. The case also helped inspire the “Black Lives Matter” movement.
The latest alleged threats aren’t the first levelled at Jay-Z by Zimmerman, who previously threatened to beat the music mogul after a production team reportedly made unannounced visits to his parents’ home.
In comments at the time of that incident in late 2017, Zimmerman said: “I know how to handle people who fuck with me, I have since February 2012.”

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is not the first time Zimmerman has shown his anger. There was that time when he pointed a gun at a citizen. The man obviously has anger problems. To bad Florida State law could not keep him off the streets.  Just as a California court freed OJ, a Florida court freed Zimmerman.

These guys can skirt the law, they can't hide their true character. Sooner, or later they will strike again. Lets hope no one gets killed again.

To bad. We could have saved anyone from being offended again by these criminals, but they got fair trails. That's our system.

Just think, if Nixon had been put through a full investigation and prosecution of wrongdoing maybe other members of the Nixon administration would have been found guilty of criminal acts and we would not have had to have them in our politics the next three decades. No Vice-president Cheney would have saved many lives. But that's all a guessing game.

The lesson is bad guys go free sometimes. Free to harm more people in their futures, their behavior given the seal of approval, legally, by our great judicial system, while pot smokers are sitting in jail, legally, by that same system.

Nixon claimed to be the law and order candidate and so did/does Trump. Is it just irony that both proved to be the biggest crooks we ever had as president? We are no longer number one in the world in many categories, but we are number one in prison population. Trump continues to fill cages with offenders , but he likes to put children in cages. One has to ask, are the correct offenders being put in prison?

Judicial and prison reform is something that should be going on constantly, not just an occasional election promise. If people question whether, or not institutional racism is alive and well, all they have to do is look at the black American's experience in our judicial system.

Someday, Zimmerman will say, or do the wrong thing to the wrong person and he may be the one ending up dead. But be careful, Zimmerman carries a gun, legally, and we know he has the character to use it regardless if he has the legal right to use it.
